Breed: Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Poodle)
Other names: Cavadoodle, Cavapoo, Cavipoo, Cavapoodle, Cavadoo
Appearance: Long, soft floppy ears and a cute face give Cavoodles a forever puppy appearance. Thecoat is luxurious and can be curly or feathered. Colours can range from white, black, gold, blenheim (chestnut & white) or tri-colour (black, white & tan).
Temperament: Cavoodles are friendly, intelligent and seek human companionship. A verypopular breed due to their gentle nature.
Lifespan: 10-14 years
Height & Weight: Approximately 30-35cm and 6-10kg.
Maintenance: Medium. Their coat may shed and regular grooming is required which can be a mutually enjoyable activity as Cavoodles love human contact. The puppies with a poodle-like coat are less inclined to shed and will need brushing 3-4times per week. A Cavalier-type coat requires grooming only once a week. Clipping may be necessary a few times throughout the year for those puppies who don't shed. Cavoodles don't require much exercise but benefit from a regular walk or run in an open space.
Recommended For: All ages and most lifestyles, especially families.
